Another day when I feel like I'm getting old. I enjoyed myself this weekend and I thank God for blessing me with another year of life. Today, I share the event of Super Bowl Sunday with America, and I don't fancy football *bleh*, so I'm just going to study now since exams are around the corner.
01 January 2015
Firstly, I want to Thank you Jesus for remembering to wake me up in 2015, & not making me a memory of 2014. Last year has been definitely a year of trials and obstacles, but I am so glad that I am still here.
Secondly, a month from now, I'll be 24!!! I'm starting to see life in a different, much more mature light, rather. And I realized that I want to seize opportunities to do something adventurous, like traveling or doing an activity I've never done before; i.e.: pottery, for my birthday. Instead of the plan ol' birthday dinner or birthday night at the club/lounge.
This year, I'm so over doing resolutions per se, I just have things I want to accomplish, but overall, I just wish to better my lifestyle, myself as a person with personal growth, as well as influence/inspire others.
BUT there was this cute note keepsake jar I picked up at an Asian "dollar store" and its in the form of capsules; being that I am pharmacy student, it appealed to me and it was absolutely adorable!
I brought in my New Years in Church, with my sweetheart, along with my mommy and siblings. The only way I feel safe bringing in a New Year; call it taboo, or the Nigerian way, haha. Anywho, I'm glad to have two more weeks left on my holiday before I return back to school for the Spring.
Hope everyone brought in the New Year safely and with loved ones!
